It’s been a month since Asian Cup 2023 started, and finally it ended today. Congratulations to Qatar for being crowned the champions of Asia for the second consecutive time! What a tournament it has been for them, and what a feat it is for their footballing history.
Unsurprisingly, Qatar is the team which earned the most points this month (92.13 points), after won all their Asian Cup matches. They climbed up 21 spots to 37th in the world, also cemented their place in top 5-ranked Asian national teams. They are also the team with highest ranking improvement, together with Saudi Arabia which also climbs 4 spots
In the opposite side, Vietnam lost the most points in the tournament (41 points), after 3 losses in the group stage.
